Locker services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If a locker is not available at your preferred branch, you can apply at another branch.

Eligibility:

All individual with age of 18 years and above, who have saving or current account with Bank Muscat can avail the service as well as Legal Entities.
Having sufficient funds to recover the periodic rental applicable for the locker service based on the type of locker occupied.

Documents Required:

For individuals:
- National ID card for Omanis / passport copy and resident ID for expatriates
For organizations:
- Company CR
- IDs of the company owners
- A request letter from the company (to open a locker)
- Authorization letter (to access the lockers and specify if it will be operated individually or jointly)
- ID of the authorized person
- Corporate Account in Bank Muscat

FAQs:

Is it possible to request for more than one locker?

Yes, subject to availability of the locker.

How does the lockers work for joint account holders?

The names of customers should be registered in the record card, only 2 customers will get keys to the locker.

What is the initial security deposit?

The customer needs to pay a one-time security of Rial Omani 100 as security deposit at the time of booking of locker, to cover the rental in case the customers doesn’t pay the dues or doesn’t vacate the locker.

This amount is refundable once the customer vacate the locker.

What is the procedure to follow in case the key is lost?

A letter in writing (signed by the holder) communicating the loss of the key and requesting for a key replacement.

Charges will be levied accordingly.
